P2P has introduced me to many people who are justice impacted nationwide with common lived experiences. P2P and NAP have helped me feel comfortable sharing my experience and learning about others from their experiences. I appreciate the comfort I feel in the NAP community of learners.
The Prison to Professionals (P2P) program has been a safe space in my life, offering the support, guidance, and camaraderie needed to achieve my personal and professional goals. Through P2P, I’ve found a community of leaders, high-quality mentorship, and peers who genuinely believe in fair chances, providing the resources to turn postcarceral aspirations into reality. My favorite thing about P2P is the compassion, encouragement, and practical assistance throughout the program. Whether connecting me to mentoring and opportunities, offering career advice, or simply being a source of inspiration, P2P has empowered me to envision and build a brighter future.
