Time is an Academy Award-nominated 2020 American documentary film produced and directed by Garrett Bradley. It follows Sibil Fox Richardson and her fight for the release of her husband, Rob, who was serving a 60-year prison sentence for engaging in an armed bank robbery. Fox and Rob will engage the audience in a discussion about the themes of their book and documentary after the screening. Then FoxandRob, and Dr. Andrisse will be passing out FREE signed copies of their book as the guest engage in networking, music, and refreshments.

ABOUT Dr. Andrisse
I am a formerly incarcerated person with three felony convictions, sentenced to ten years in prison as a prior and persistent career criminal. I was told by a prosecutor that I had no hope for change. I am now an endocrine scientist and assistant professor at Howard University College of Medicine, former faculty at Johns Hopkins Medicine, and visiting faculty at Imperial College London, and Georgetown University Medical Center. I am also the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Prison to Professionals (P2P), a nonprofit that helps 100s currently and formerly incarcerated men and women nationwide obtain higher education. I have also recently written a ‘#1 New Release in Educator Biographies’ book titled ‘From Prison Cells to PhD: It is Never Too Late to Do Good’.
