P2P has an incredible team of experts from across the nation. Our program and organization was designed from bits and pieces of the amazing work of our Board and other similar evidence-based programs. Over 75% of our board and team are directly impacted or formerly incarcerated.
P2P Organizational Chart
Summary: From Prison Cells to PhD (or Prison to Professionals, P2P) was established as a 501(c)(3) in July 2017. The Board began meeting about one year before that in 2016. The year that each team was established within the organization is listed in parentheses next to the team. Currently, P2P has ten teams (or units or departments) with a total of 16.055 FTE (full time equivalents) and 40 people. Six teams have two or less people, and four teams have 6 or more, with the Program Team’s 10 people being the largest team.
Notes: The full time equivalent (FTE) that the person provides in the role is listed after their name. Here are some examples: 1.0 FTE = 40 hours per week, 0.75 FTE = 30 hours per week, 0.5 FTE = 20 hours per week, 0.25 FTE = 10 hours per week. Volunteers are noted as “volunteers’. Some team members may have FTE in multiple roles on multiple teams. The link to each job description is included next to the role. The standard operating procedure (SOP) or how to guide is linked next to some positions. Note that many SOPs and How-To Guides may be inaccessible to you if you are not in that role or on that team. In many but not all cases, the person listed above a person/role is the supervisor of that role (or the person that role reports to or supports). The total active/paid FTEs and people on each team is listed next to the Team heading followed by a description of the team. If a team member has 0.25 FTE or more with P2P, we encourage the team member to add P2P as an employer on their LinkedIn profile. People on this list working with P2P via a subaward to a separate organization are highlighted yellow and are not P2P staff (i.e. not 1099 or W2 workers of P2P, and thus do not fall under the staff policies of P2P, see P2P Employee Handbook).
