It is inspirational and motivating to see and speak with men and women who have overcome misfortune in their lives and not only excelled but reached back to offer a hand of hope and opportunity to others who were languishing. I'll always remember the morning that, through her tears, Rosie told us how P2P changed her life, offering her a life that was once unimaginable. I aspire to be the change agents that Dr. Andrisse and his team are. Also, I'm grateful to have a supportive and accomplished mentor who believes in me more than I believe in myself. On the outside I appear whole, but decades of incarceration have taken a toll. P2P is helping me regain that lost confidence and encouraging me to push beyond my self-imposed limits. My favorite aspect of P2P is the mentorship provision. Having the ear of an expert in my field of interest is an invaluable resource. We all need mentors. Thank you, Dr. Andrisse and the entire P2P team.
