The P2P program has allowed me to see that my goals are attainable and that it’s never too late to pursue an education or develop a career. It has given me confidence by laying out all the elements concerning school/training and the proper funding to make it possible. The program has been clear in its step-by-step illustrations on how to organize and manage my time and has offered many suggestions and resources for career/personal development. The program and its facilitators understand that individuals who have been incarcerated, especially for decades, face many challenges that can be difficult to overcome. I believe that career training and education are the strongest tools that will help me overcome most of my challenges.
