​Who would have thought that in September of 2018, listening to Dr. Stanley Andrisse present and invite a chapel full of inmates to change their lives, that I would be writing this testimony today? To write about how in the last two months my outlook on my future has been greatly enriched is without a doubt the easiest of tasks yet! P2P: the staff, mentors, tutors, and scholars truly ignite this frenetic energy that is inside me and lights it on fire with high-octane fuel. The environment, the companionship, the camaraderie is comforting with acceptance, all-encompassing in understanding, encouraging through empathy, and thunderous in motivation. Without a doubt there is a movement taking place not just outwardly in society, government, and higher education but that starts inside the hearts of the entire conglomeration of P2P. They say it takes one voice to start a revolution, I truly believe that P2P is one voice that’s creating a cataclysmic event! I cannot even begin to describe in words the insurmountable appreciation I have for being accepted into this program. Thank you beyond any quantifiable measure and from the deepest cockles of my heart!!
