By, Jessica Snow  While in New Orleans, one of the best parts of our trip was the book-signing at Melba's Po'boy Shop. Melba's is one of the most hoppin' 24 hour restaurant spots in NOLA--but it is so much more than that. This one of a kind place, run by its passionate and enthusiastic owner-Jane Wolfe, is its own intellectual hub that has cultivated an entire literacy community. Authors from all over the country visit Melba's!

By, Jessica Snow  Last month, the P2P Leadership Team traveled to the bright and musical city of New Orleans, Louisiana to attend the 2022 Jobs for the Future (JFF) Horizon Conference. This year’s conference had a focus on connecting impoverished and racially marginalized communities, and those from underrepresented backgrounds, to better jobs, skills, training, and education, enabling their access to an enhanced job market.
